Basic Pay Salary

  • As per the 6th pay commission for Assistant Loco Pilot RRB, Pay Scale was fixed at Rs.1900 grade between Rs.5200 to Rs.20200.
  • At a present basic salary of Rs.19900/ – has been added to Level-2 under 7th Pay Matrix salary of Assistant Loco Pilot RRB.
  • The Dearness Allowance will be calculated at 17% (currently fixed rate) on the basic salary.

Traveling Allowance (TA)

TA (Traveling Allowance) Loco Pilot / Assistant Loco Pilot depends on the location of a posting of RRB. It can be Rs.900 – or Rs.1800 + DA depending on the place of posting.

Running Allowance

  • Loco Pilot, Assistant Loco Pilot, and Guard are identified under the running staff in the train’s operation.
  • The running allowance, which is given separately to the running staff, is known as the running allowance. The Assistant Loco Pilot RRB of a freight train travels at least 6000 km every month.
